We left Williams early on August 9 and drove the 100km north to the Grand Canyon where we both walked along the Rim track and took the shuttle bus as far west along the Rim Road that we could. A visit to the Grand Canyon is something that I dreamt of doing as a child but despite having visited USA more than thirty five times had never got round to. I was not disappointed. Tick that off my bucket list. Of course, the caches we found were virtuals. Trail’s End Rest, Peace on the Rim and Grand Canyon Explorers.
From here we continued on to Kanab where we stayed the night. On the way we found a couple of really interesting places both with their own virtual caches. First out was Historic Navajo Bridge followed closely by Cliff Dweller.
Kanab, known as Utah’s Little Hollywood offered us a series of seven caches including Utah’s Little Hollywood Series #2. It was good to find some real caches after all the last days virtuals. From Kanab we continued on through Red Canyon
to Bryce Canyon. This is just as impressive as Grand Canyon but in a completely different way. It has a surrealistic touch to it.

After the visual overload of seeing both the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon on consecutive days we arrived at Cedar City. This was quite a large town but we found that it had no true centre. Weird.
Very nice photos. Thanks for sharing.
